Now that the battle was over Ram severed the mind link.

"I want perimeter patrols of the battlefield. No one leaves or enters this area without my permission. Have faction leaders meet me here on the Emancipator, I want the highest ranking Streonian officer that is still living to formally surrender. The terms of their surrender are as follows: they will hand over all warships, weapons, military equipment and communications devices at once. They will be taken into Imperial custody until the end of the war, during which time they will be treated as guests on the planet HyporE."

"Yes, Your Highness. What of the Kylanthan fleet?" Tillisk asked, his hands folded behind his back in proper military fashion.

"Invite their leader, presumably their King, to the Emancipator as well. I would like very much to meet them as well. I don't want any fancy welcomes, have the men finish any repairs and then immediately take some time off, they deserve it. I don't want to see anyone standing around waiting for orders, if they don't have anything to do they may go to their quarters or to a recreation area."

"Yes, Your Highness." Tillisk bowed and left to carry out Ram's orders.

"Gearan, your navy performed beautifully today. I knew they would make Idahria proud." Ram said as he turned to Gearan, placing a hand on his shoulder.

At the message from Askaari, the remaining Streonian ships didn't hesitate. They repowered their weapons and fired on the Gamaliel which was closest. Soon, it was the only Streonian ship that was still fighting. Eventually, it was finally completely destroyed, what with all the ships large and small attacking it directly. Esclanfal lay lifeless under a complex of snapped sections of his flagship's exoskeleton. The huge ship was now just floating, with very few of its weapons systems firing. Those few eventualy quieted down and the crews either committed suicide or were taken in by surrendering Streonian destroyers.

The Imperials acknowledged the surrender of those who were wise enough to do so, they were ordered to fire upon the remaining ships loyal to the Streonians or be fired upon. They couldn't afford to divert resources to secure vessels that were no longer hostile.. so their best course of action was to force them to fight because they sure as hell weren't going to be allowed to escape. Ram grabbed a nearby communications device and switched it to broadcast to all ships in the area.

"This is Emperor Ram Askaari the Fourth of the Galactic Empire, Supreme Commander of the Imperial Armed Forces and I am in command of this armada. All those who do not wish to be destroyed will target and fire upon hostile Streonian vessels. We are transmitting ship ID's for those that still fight for the Streonians. Any Streonian crew that fights with us will be pardoned and given the option to disband and return home or join the Imperial Navy in the pacification of Streonia. We will free those they have oppressed and re-establish peace for the Core Worlds, stand with us or against us.. this is your decision and it must be made swiftly. You have three minutes to comply." He closes the channel and returns to his meditative state.

Re: The Purge

Few Streonian ships were able to escape just as the Imperials activated their Interdictors. Gaeran was relieved. Things were going their way. It appeared at this point that they would be the victors of this battle. The ships that the Streonians had forced to fight for them were turning back on their masters. Showing the Streonian scourge who was boss.

Ahead, a Streonian dome-gunship was pulling off an impressive frontal assault against the Emancipator. Its shield was very strong, but its rear was quite weak. At this point, disabling it would be difficult unless a heavy gun emplacement could shoot it down in time. Weapons locked onto the command bridge, it continued dodging and deflecting like others of its squadron did. It was right about to fire when it was caught in the field of a cluster missile fired by the INS Queseon, Idahria's Flagship, hovering just above the Emancipator.

Gaeran smiled softly. Even when he wasn't around, Queseon was helping him. What a wonderful child. With Gaeran becoming more confident, the Idahrian fleet fought harder, eventually doing more than fighter screening as they had been assigned. His Tärnen Interceptors and Strid Fighters were now hunting Streonian ships down like they would Nysali back on Idahria. Gaeran was pleased indeed. He hadn't expected his navy to fight this well, for their first time.

Esclanfal needed to escape quickly. But he couldn't. The Gamaliel was more than half the size of the Emancipator, and the exoskeleton seemed to be holding out, but he couldn't stay for long. His fleet was being swarmed by the very peoples he had enslaved. They had found hope... And as he knew, hope was dangerous. As long as there was a spark of it, a fire was bound to break. That fire had gone wild and was tearing through his navy so quickly that he couldn't tell which ships were his and which were of the enemy's.

Three Streonian cruisers and four destroyers nearby had moved away from the Gamaliel, deactivating their weapons as a sign of surrender. Their engines were off as well. Esclanfal glared out at them through his viewdeck. "Cowards." he growled. Stomping back to his command center, he ordered for his guns to be aimed at the ships that surrendered, but his own ship began to shudder as Kylanthan cutters brushed past, leaving gashes across the flagship's exoskeleton and  protective shell. This looked like an embarrassing defeat for his navy. His homeplanet could not be allowed to hear of this. If he was going to be defeated, the whole fleet had to be destroyed.

The entire link rippled as new information was being delivered across it's network. Interdictor class Star Destroyers were jumped into the system to support the already present fleet. Activating their systems would prevent new ships from entering the system as well as keep ships from leaving the system using Transwarp, Hyperdrive, Warp Drive, Slipstream Drive.. most of the still in-use propulsion technologies.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

The Streonians would be denied retreat, but now no one could leave or go and that included the Empire.. unless they deactivated the Interdictors.

"They cannot escape. This war ends here." Ram said aloud to Gaeran.

Re: The Purge

Post by Idahria on 27th January 2015, 6:27 am

Emperor Gaeran became more slightly nervous at the sight of more ships he assumed were fighting for the enemy. He gulped as he saw one Streonian cruiser literally sliced in half by a Kylanthan ship. Esclanfal was even more surprised. He was furious. But he grinned, casually strolling about the bridge of the Gamaliel.

"Well played, Emperor." he muttered, then left to give orders. The slaved fleets were to deal with the Kylanthans. But he had lost them, too. The slaved fleets found new courage in the attacking Kylanthan forces, and turned on those who had forced them to fight against a large enemy. Esclanfal had severely underestimated the Galactic Empire, The Stygian Empire, and the Kylanthan Empire. He had sowed the wind, and now, he is going to reap the whirlwind. His fleet was quite advanced and powerful, but he could not fight all these ships. Many of the people he slaved had better technology than even the Idahrians, but simply were outnumbered. Now it was obvious that he would not last long in this battle. But he wasn't going to embrace that just yet.

The Kylanthans continued to stream from their own planet, behind the Streonians as the Empire saw. For a moment, it seemed that they were on the Streonians' side, but they really weren't. Six Streonian battlecruisers suddenly exploded as Kylanthan cutters passed through them and searched for other targets. Behind them were the Kylanthan dreadnoughts. The Streonians would now be fighting on two fronts, like the Germans against the Allies in the Second World War, long forgotten.

Lixandroiu was now on a ship of his own, no larger than a Naboo cruiser, shooting down as many fighters as he could. As a leader, he wasn't afraid to risk his life. No Kylanthan Emperor was known to be a coward. You fought with your men no matter what the outcome or the situation. Kylanthan fighters performed maneuvers making them less vulnerable to defensive fire from the battlecruisers. Some would veer past the front of Askaari's and Gaeran's fleet, but seemed to just turn over backward and return to the fight.

"Unidentified fleet approaching. Position is three four tac one alpha." A voice in the link reported. More voices came, the voices had become one. "Their weapons have been powered up."

"They're approaching the Streonians from their rear."

"We know their origin, they are Kylanthan."

"Neutral Core World system."

"Threat analysis complete, threat is minimal."

"Proceed with caution, do not fire on incoming Kylanthan fleet until further orders are given. For now, ignore the new ships." Ram's voice seemed to be the only one that could outshine the rest.

Everything was calm in the link, even the deaths of TIE pilots meant nothing to them... they were one large organism trying their best to destroy the threat. But outside the link it was chaos. The Emancipator rattled and shook as it took the brunt of Streonian weapons fire, thankfully it seemed their defensive systems would hold for now. Being on the bridge of the Emancipator was like being in the epicenter of a particularly violent fireworks display, the city sized surface of the Super Star Destroyer's outer hull was pock marked with crashed enemy fighters that had tried to take a shot at the command bridge. Gearan and Ram stood quietly together as they controlled the battle, their faces were drenched in sweat.

Vive Empériat Kylantié!

Post by Taiothle on 26th January 2015, 4:06 am

The Imperial Capital of Kylantha was as glorious as ever. Adorned by bright lights and colourful plants, lined by high walls, and guarded by the very best of the Kylanthan Imperial Army. Here lived the all-powerful Emperor Simion Lixandroiu. With him were his wife, two sons, and daughter who had all gone to their quarters to sleep about an hour ago. The Emperor sat in his office, staring up at the glass dome where the night sky was fully visible, dotted with stars. It was now quite late, but the Emperor could not sleep. He was troubled by the most recent meeting with his Assembly of 49 Governors. It was concerning the arrival of the invaders who called themselves Streonians. The Imperial Assembly was heavily against the idea of investing a large amount of troops for an attack on a faction not even hostile to Kylantha. It would only ruin their good reputation. Frustrated, hesitant, and deeply worried, the Emperor slammed his expensive desk with his fist, and stormed out the office. He was intending to prepare a full-scale attack on the Streonian scum. They had given him time to decide, and now he had decided. The superlaser waiting outside of Kylantha would not be a problem.

"Kylantha will fight indeed, Esclanfal... Against you... You and your bloody lot of four-armed twats." he snarled darkly as he padded down the corridor to call on his subjects.

A day after a final meeting with his Assembly, Emperor Lixandroiu stood at his narrow balcony, looking over the assembled fighting force. He had united the power of North, Western, and Southern Kylantha to fight against the Streonians. Not too far from where he stood, he could see a Streonian battlecruiser landing in a temple once considered to be greatly holy, now defiled by the smoke from the invaders' spacecraft. Lixandroiu turned, grinned, and nodded to his adviser who rushed back into the office. He contacted the generals who were tasked with directly engaging the Streonian ship. After that, the three hundred Interceptors flanking the Streonian superlaser would swarm and destroy it. So far, the plan seemed to be going well.

A cocky Streonian Officer disembarked from the battlecruiser, along with him were 40 armed guards. Lixandroiu personally came to meet these people with a grin on his face.

"I see you've made the right choice, Emperor Lixandroiu." said the Streonian with a satisfied smirk.

The Emperor nodded in reply, but in a murmur he said something that made the officer lean forward. "This army here... It will fight against you."

That brought about a look of shock on the Officer's face before his head disappeared into a cloud of red. The Emperor now had in his hand a plasma revolver. The guards that were with the Officer aimed, but were all gunned down by Kylanthan Saboteurs coming in from the temple roofs.

The crew on the Streonian ship saw what had happened and were just about to contact command and leave, but on three sides, Kylanthan dreadnoughts hovered forth and crushed the Streonian ship between salvos of explosive projectiles and concentrated plasma bolts. The people of the Capital, soldiers and civilians, cheered loud and triumphantly as the Streonian battlecruiser fell onto its side.

A signal was triggered, and the Kylanthan Interceptors outside orbit converged on the superlaser which closely resembled the Avarflet. It did no damage at all, being too large to engage all those ships with so little to defend with. Soon, it was a mess, with the crews down and out. The Kylanthan Interceptors merged with a larger fighting group which then prepared to move against the Streonian fleet. Hopefully the slaved fleets would join with them.

Re: The Purge

Post by The Galactic Empire on 26th January 2015, 12:06 am

As soon as Gaeran's hand made contact with Ram's arm the entire armada jumped in a flash. The space around them was full of star lines as they soared through space at an incredible speed. They soon returned to normal space and instantly there were thousands of flashes of red and green as the Imperial Heavy Turbophasers fired madly towards the Streonians. All of the shots fired were accurate and hit their targets as planned. Gaeran could feel the collective minds of tens of thousands of Imperials and Idahrians within the armada, they were all efficient and calm. Ram's voice could be heard over all of the others, giving power to his men and showing them through the Force how to destroy their enemy. It was a difficult thing to describe, being linked to tens of thousands of minds suddenly. He could feel the presence of the Borg crewman working tirelessly to keep the Emancipator running at peak performance.

TIE Bombers were concentrating their attack on the Streonian command ship using PEN bombs which could rip through forty feet of solid Durasteel. A small voice in the chain told them the Streonian ships were 'eating' other ships. They knew this because the remains of the Imperial taskforce sent here earlier were still floating in space around the enemy. Bodies of dead Imperials floated everywhere around the Streonians in space, only a few starships were lost with that patrol but a Star Destroyer still has a very large crew. Ram ordered the fleet to maintain a minimum distance of 30,000 Kilometers. This would keep the Streonians within firing range but disallow them from devouring anymore Star Destroyers. The rest of the Imperial bombardment was being targeted at their more maneuverable vessels. The smaller vessels exploded as the Imperial hybrid naval rounds effortlessly annihilated their shields and armor, giving no time for evasive action. In the first few minutes of the battle they were doing massive damage to the Streonians.

Re: The Purge

Post by Idahria on 25th January 2015, 7:29 pm

The Kunaan pilot was caught anyway, after hiding. He was placed in a cell where he told a drone everything he knew, without hesitating. The Streonians had amassed a large army of its own, backed by slave fleets and Streonian Allies. He wasn't sure how many there were, but many were using a technology that brought them into a "non-existent" phase before returning for an ambush. They also had with them a new kind of ship. The pilot said it looked like a gourd, and was surrounded by a red sphere all the time. According to him, their leader was on there. But he wasn't sure about that either.

After Ram explained, Gaeran sighed. "Queseon is on his way back to Idahria this moment. I've asked him to keep defenses up in case the Streonians attempt to attack that area." he said and placed his hand on Askaari's arm.

Imperial Marines apprehended the downed pilot on the Emancipator's hull and stored him in the brig until someone could be spared to question him. An interrogation droid was sent to his cell to extract any information he might have on the Streonian fleet composition and any possible weaknesses.

"Well, since you are telepathic I will need you by my side to assist in my battle meditation. I will be linking the minds of every member of the armada, this increases our effectiveness a hundred fold and eliminates any need for verbal communication. The armada will essentially become one massive life form, this method will defeat the enemy. Your presence in the link will assure the minds of your sailors, this link will also suppress any fear our people might feel at any given time. You need only put your hand on my arm and we can establish the link. After this is done, the armada will jump to the enemy's location." Ram replied, holding out his left arm. "I do hope your son is safe." He added before Gearan could say anything else.

Re: The Purge

As Esclanfal had expected, his slave pilots would be of no use. Their attack was pointless. Fighter craft from ten different planets were frantically flying about, escaping from the Streonians and the Imperials. This was never a good idea to begin with. Many of these auxiliary fighters escaped, and the Streonian Vulturs and Interceptors were destroyed. That lanky looking fighter that passed by the Emancipator's command bridge was being hotly pursued by fire from the huge ship. But it was frighteningly fast, referred to as a marsh-bug by the people who the pilot came from. The planet of Kunaa. All the other fighters in this pilot's squadron had been shot down, either by Streonians, and these people, who they had picked a fight with.

Nicely enough, the engine was hit, and the small fighter, seemingly made of sticks, crashed on the top of the Emancipator. The [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] quickly clambered out and went into hiding. He was never going to go see the Streonians ever again.

Gaeran had come back after speaking to his son, now on the way back to their homeplanet. He gulped nervously as he saw the small fighter craft fall. This had never happened, not even after the Idahrians met the Imperials. If this was what it was like, he may have to lock both systems under his control except to allies.

"What's the next step, Ram?" asked the Emperor, levitating and peeking out over the vast topside of the Emancipator.

"Status on those fighters?" Askaari asked.

"We've just decrypted their firewalls, hacking their systems now sir." A Lieutenant responded. Suddenly the Imperial orbital defense guns, anti-fighter batteries.. everything now had their sights locked on the enemy fighters. They didn't last long as soon as the barrage opened up.

"Status on Adaptation?" Askaari asked.

"Systems are adapting, they wont get past us again sir." Grand Admiral Tillisk replied.

"We need to leave soon, the longer the armada sits here the longer the Streonians have to do damage. Do we know their position yet?" Askaari asked impatiently.

"The reports have just come in sir. We're ready to jump to their position when you give the order." Grand Admiral Tillisk responded.

"Jump the Interdictors in first and get a warp bubble up. I don't want the Streonians escaping. As soon as the rest of the fleet comes out of hyperspace deploy all fighters and order them to concentrate on perimeter defense around the battlefield, they'll destroy any escape pods or escaping ships. Bombers will deploy immediately and will take targets from fire control. We'll concentrate all main guns on their command ship, secondary fire systems will engage whatever targets they want to hit. The Idahrian ships MUST remain out of the line of fire, they must hold their position using our ships as cover and fire directly over the decks of our ships at the Streonians. Is that clear to everyone?" Askaari gave the orders to everyone on the bridge so they understood what needed to be done.

"Yes sir." They all responded.

"Very well, we'll jump into the system as soon as Emperor Gearan is ready. I'll need him to assist me with my Battle Meditation." Askaari turned to Gearan, hoping he would be finished soon. After all, they knew his son was alive but his daughter could easily have been dead. It wouldn't affect his performance in the battle if she were dead, grieving was for another time and place.

"I-Injured!?" Gaeran gasped. That was enough of an explanation for him. He said nothing else about what Ram told him, as he was now deeply worried for his son's safety. The Emperor rushed behind the ensign and crossed his arms as he waited for a line to Iodrillon to be established.

Elsewhere, a squadron of very small, primitive fighters was heading for New Coruscant. Behind them was a large Streonian Vultur. The smaller fighters numbered 40 in all. It seemed they were being driven to fight. The pilots had their grips tight on their navigation sticks as they zipped through space. One of the fighters veered away from the group, but it was destroyed by the Vultur's gun turret. Behind this squadron, more auxiliary fighters from other planets were being urged forward by heavy Streonian ships. Many of them were already getting under the Empire's noses and into the atmosphere. Many of the fighters didn't even have the nerve to fire on the city below. Only a few did, and those were allies of the Streonians, or the Streonians themselves.

Gaeran was startled. He lowered his head as a small conical fighter passed by, followed by two different others. He wasn't sure of what was going on. But he could hear terrified and regretful thoughts among many others. He had to stop receiving telepathic messages for a while.

These men have fought in more wars than you or I know of and each one of them is worth ten thousand soldiers. Captain Torc is keeping me updated on the situation, Prince Queseon was injured by one of the planet's native predators. Princess Telera saved Prince Queseon and their starship's doctor was able to heal him. To my knowledge, Prince Queseon lead the scout force back out into the frozen desert despite his previous injuries. He sounds like a real leader to me, you raised a fine son. The only thing I don't know from the reports is how my daughter is doing, I can only assume she is injured or worse. But nevertheless, the eve of battle looms. If you wish to contact your son we have only a brief time." He turns to a nearby Ensign. "Ensign, please show Emperor Gearan where he can access our communications, and then please patch him through to TK-112 deployed to Anithea."

"Yes sir. Emperor Gearan, I will be waiting by the communications station until you are ready, please take your time sir." The Ensign saluted and went to crew pit on the starboard (right) side of the bridge.

At least that sounded good. Gaeran gave a sigh of relief, but was still worried about his own ships. They didn't have this kind of technology on their ships, and they had no idea how to fight. This would be their first real battle with real enemies. Not tooth and fang, but guns and ships. The Emperor was hoping that they could achieve victory without losing anyone. He glanced about the command bridge, still appearing deeply worried. He turned to Askaari.

"I need to contact my son. He needs to know what's happening here..." the Emperor said, tugging at Askaari's clothes as he was shorter. Everyone here was quite a lot larger than him, like always.

They were now docking with the Imperial Executor III Class Super Star Destroyer, Emancipator. There was no reception for them as the shuttle entered the hangar and touched down. The emperors exited the shuttle and took the nearest turbolift to the command bridge.

"Any damage done to us will be automatically repaired by the starships Borg operators. We freed the Borg from the collective, but volunteers were needed to operate the Borg technology.. this of course meant that they would have to remain Borg. There are three hundred Borg crewman on this ship and nearly twenty per Star Destroyer. The fleet we sent for back up for that scout group, their ships weren't hybrids like these. I suspect the Streonians will be greatly surprised. We have also enacted a quarantine zone around all known Streonian space. Victory will be ours, I assure you."

The turbolift was now on the command bridge, officers were moving about preparing the fleet for battle. Grand Admiral Tillisk was waiting for the emperors.

The Purge

Post by Idahria on 23rd January 2015, 12:27 am

Previously...:
Ram thought for a moment, looking down at the floor as if the answer were there.

"Gaeran, you are a telepath so you will join me on my command ship, the Super Star Destroyer Emancipator. It's been upgraded from an Executor to an Executor III Class with the most advanced weaponry in this galaxy, its repair systems are Borg technology so the ship is for all intents and purposes.. invincible. Only a quarter of our fleet has been upgraded with Borg technology, so we will take all of that portion with us and leave the rest for sector defense and patrol. We can't let our borders become vulnerable with so much of our fleet being dedicated to one battle. We'll have nearly 800 Imperial V Class Star Destroyers all with Borg technology, 1600 Victory III Class Star Destroyers with Borg Tech and 3200 Acclamators without Borg Tech." Ram took out a communicator and flipped the switch on it. Fleet Admiral Tillisk appeared as a hologram from the disk.

"Yes ,My Lord?" Tillisk answered

"What is the progress on the armada?" Ram inquired.

"We will be ready for departure once you arrive."

"And you've been listening to our conversation, yes?" Ram asked.

"Of course as you requested, My Lord. All of your modifications to the Armada are being carried out, what designation shall we give this battle group?" Tillisk asked.

"Call it... the Omega Squadron, in honor of our use of stolen Borg technology. We will be there soon, we will be using trans-warp so be advised." Ram told Tillisk.

"I will alert Omega Squadron of your arrival, will you be bringing company?"

"Yes, Emperor Gaeran is accompanying me on the command ship. Please plan the reception accordingly."

"Yes, My Lord." Tillisk bowed low and the hologram winked out.

"Gaeran follow me please, I will inform you of our current strategy on the way. We should be to Idahria shortly." Ram began walking down a corridor. "We only use the Trans-Warp conduits in emergency situations, since it's only a little faster than our hyper drive. Our shuttles are built to withstand the stresses of the Trans-Warp, but we try not to use it because we never know if there are still Borg lurking somewhere silently upgrading so they can destroy us. We should be safe, considering we have not seen the Borg in nearly 20 years and the Trans-Warp conduits are slipping into decay.. which is exactly what we ant to happen. If the Trans-Warp conduits collapse, then any Borg remnants will be stranded wherever they may be hiding." They were now in a very busy shuttle bay, Imperials bowed to both of them left and right. They soon entered a shuttle and sat down, a few Stormtroopers with shiny new armor also sat in the shuttle and there were a handful of some very fresh looking, extremely nervous officers.

"I take it you all graduated today, and made the decision to ship out as soon as you graduated." Askaari asked fresh bunch.

"Yes, Your Highness." A Stormtrooper stood and bowed low, "it's an honor to be in your presence."

"I see they're skimming over the military etiquette portion of your training nowadays. When the Emperor is in military dress, you call him Sir and give him the same customs and courtesies as any officer. So relax trooper, take a seat and enjoy the peace while it lasts. You happen to be assigned to the Omega Squadron, the largest armada we've assembled and we're using Borg tech. You'll be serving under the finest officers the Empire has to offer, and I will personally be commanding this battle. You have nothing to worry about." The shuttle left New Coruscant and sped toward space, once in orbit a sickly green portal opened and the shuttle entered. Along the way through this green-gassy looking space the shuttle rocked about as the inertial stabilizers tried to compensate for the gravimetric disturbances in the Trans-Warp conduit.

"I know I'm rushing you along here Gaeran, but in this situation time is of the essence. Since none of your vessels in the armada have the regenerative abilities that ours have, your ships will be running fighter screening. Your ships will position themselves out of the line of fire of the Streonian ships, essentially hiding behind our Star Destroyers. Our ships will concentrate their fire on the Streonian warships, each ship will be engaging its Streonian counterpart. Your ships have already been assigned to our Star Destroyers accordingly, their captains will have to position their ships just enough so their gun batteries can shoot across the decks of our Destroyers and take out incoming fighters. Everyone in the armada has been briefed, this was something we planned out long ago when we became allies if we ever had to fight like this. Your star fighters have been integrated with our TIE Fighter wings as well as the bomber wings. I have to say, this is the most integrated fleet the Empire has ever been a part of.. brings a tear to my eye."

The Streonians have begun to engage neutral planets throughout the galaxy, their technology rapidly improving, what with all the fairly intelligent races they enslaved. Those who refused to cooperate were simply obliterated by powerful weapons such as superlasers and strange devices that caused unusual and dangerous changes in a planet's core. As of now, the Streonians are about, scouting other star systems. They have not yet reached into Idahria's domain. However, they have already started to encroach into the Galactic Empire's territories.

General Pelleret Esclanfal of the Streonian Navy now has his eyes set on New Coruscant, after the loss of one of his ships, the Avarflet. It was truly an insignificant loss for the fairly large Navy, but Esclanfal never liked losses, no matter how small. The Streonian Navy was now mobilized, ships of all sizes scouring their domain, forcing enslaved peoples to prepare for a massive battle.

The attack would be spearheaded by the Gamaliel itself, exoskeleton and all...

Emperor Gaeran Only followed along behind Ram, a worried look on his face. He was unsure if he wanted his navy to be involved in this battle, as though he wanted to stop the invaders, he didn't want for any Idahrians to die. And by the looks of it, there would be a large loss of life. Grief among the populace of the Empire. He wasn't willing at all to fight. But at the moment, he wasn't sure if he wanted to air such a grievance. What would happen if the Streonians somehow succeeded?

There was also young Queseon, who was still on Iodrillon with Askaari's daughter. He was not yet aware of what they were now facing. He was honestly more worried about his son's condition than that of what was going on here. They would soon be face to face with a large enemy. No one yet knew what sort of technology the Streonians had besides superlasers.
